Background and Rationale

Our Story
The Landing Space is a home-grown and values-led organisation founded by two staff wellbeing specialists who have spent their careers supporting the people who support others. Between us, our experience spans trauma informed frontline practice in various settings, staff wellbeing leadership, clinical psychological support, organisational consultancy, training design and delivery, reflective practice, and bespoke group wellbeing programmes. We've worked alongside NHS teams, charities, human rights organisations, and practitioners working in some of the most challenging environments.
We've witnessed the realities of burnout, compassion fatigue, vicarious trauma and moral injury and also what a difference real care and a good working environment can do to prevent these extreme reactions from developing.
We know that even the most meaningful jobs can become overwhelming when resources are stretched, expectations are high, or people are left to deal with it all by themselves. Our approach is deeply relational, reflective and progressive and we aim for the real care that transforms workplaces.
We've learned that every organisation, whether it's a hospital, a charity, a law firm or a corporate business, shares one thing in common: people do their best work when they feel psychologically safe, valued and supported. And we are passionate about bringing that to you.
